The Benedictine College Ravens compete as members of the Heart of America Athletic Conference in NAIA football and NAIA Division I basketball. Benedictine, formerly the all-female "Mount Saint Scholastica College" and all-male "Saint Benedict's College" until their merger in 1971, is a private Catholic (Benedictine) institution located in Atchison, Kansas, about 45 minutes northwest of Kansas City. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
