The Cascade College Thunderbirds ceased operations after the 2009 academic year due to financial difficulties. At the time, the school competed in NAIA Division II Basketball as members of the Cascade Collegiate Conference. The school did not sponsor football. Cascade, formerly known as "Columbia Christian College", was a branch campus of Oklahoma Christian University, and was a private Church of Christ institution located in Portland, Oregon.
