The John F. Kennedy College Patriots (Patriettes for the ladies' teams) ceased operations in 1975 when the school closed due to financial problems. The school never sponsored football. Kennedy was a private non-sectarian institution located in Wahoo, Nebraska, about half an hour west of Omaha. Kennedy, which never did receive accreditation, was one of the "Parsons Plan" colleges which opened in the mid-1960s, all of which closed by the mid-70s along with Parsons College itself when the end of the military draft sapped the schools of their primary enrollment base.
