The Mississippi State University Bulldogs compete as members of the Southeastern Conference in NCAA Division I FBS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Mississippi State is a public land-grant institution located in Starkville, Mississippi, about two hours northeast of Jackson. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 11,000.
