The Bowdoin College Polar Bears compete as members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. They also participate in the C-B-B Conference with Bates and Colby, two other members of the NESCAC. Bowdoin is a private non-sectarian institution located in Brunswick, Maine, about a 20 minutes northeast of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
