The Colby College White Mules compete as members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. They also participate in the C-B-B Conference with Bates and Bowdoin, two other members of the NESCAC. Colby is a private non-sectarian institution located in Waterville, Maine, about 90 minutes north of Portland. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
