The Clarke College Crusaders compete in NAIA Division II as members of the Midwest Collegiate Conference (1988-2015) in basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Clarke is a private Catholic (Diocesan) institution located in Dubuque, Iowa, about an hour north of Davenport. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
