The Wesleyan University Cardinals compete as members of the New England Small College Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. The school also competes, informally, as a member of the Little Three Conference. Wesleyan is a private non-sectarian institution located in Middletown, Connecticut, about 20 minutes south of Hartford. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
