The Pennsylvania State University, or "Penn State", Nittany Lions compete as members of the Big Ten Conference in NCAA Division I FBS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Penn State is a public land-grant institution located midway between Altoona and Williamsport in the central Pennsylvania town of State College, although the official address is University Park, Pennsylvania. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 37,000.
