The University of Connecticut, or "UConn", Huskies compete as members of the Big East Conference in NCAA Division I FBS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. UConn is a public land-grant institution located in the town of Storrs, Connecticut, about a half-hour northeast of Hartford. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 21,000.
