The Carnegie Mellon University Tartans compete as members of the University Athletic Association in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Carnegie Mellon is a private non-sectarian institution located in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvana. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
