The Harris-Stowe State University Hornets compete as members of the American Midwest Conference in NAIA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Harris-Stowe State, a historically black college, is a public institution located in Saint Louis, Missouri. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 2,000.
