The Mary Baldwin College Squirrels compete as members of the USA South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III basketball. As a women's college, the school does not sponsor football or men's basketball. Mary Baldwin is a private Presbyterian institution located in Staunton, Virginia, about 90 minutes north of Roanoke. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
