The Ferrum College Panthers compete as members of the USA South Athletic Conference in NCAA Division III football and basketball. Ferrum is a private Methodist institution located in the town of Ferrum, Virginia, about a half-hour south of Roanoke. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
