The Adelphi University Panthers compete as members of the Northeast Ten Conference in NCAA Division II basketball. The school does not sponsor football. Adelphi is a private non-sectarian institution located in Garden City, New York, on Long Island about a half hour east of Manhattan. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 4,000.
