The University of Portland Pilots compete as members of the West Coast Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school has not sponsored football since 1949. Portland is a private Catholic (Congregation of Holy Cross) institution located in Portland, Oregon. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 3,000.
