The University of Central Missouri Mules (Jennies for women's teams) compete as members of the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletic Association in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Central Missouri, formerly "Central Missouri State", is a public institution located in Warrensburg, Missouri, about 45 minutes southeast of Kansas City. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 9,000.
