The Howard University Bison compete as members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference in NCAA Division I FCS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Howard, a historically black college, is a private non-sectarian institution located in Washington, DC. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 12,000.
