The Santa Clara University Broncos compete as members of the West Coast Conference in NCAA Division I basketball. The school has not sponsored football since 1992. Santa Clara is a private Catholic (Jesuit) institution located in Santa Clara, California, just east of San Jose. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 5,000.
