The Cheyney University of Pennsylvania Wolves compete as members of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. Formerly known as "Cheyney State", Cheyney, a historically black college, is a public institution located in Cheyney, Pennsylvania, midway between Philadelphia and Wilmington, Delaware. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
