The Ouachita Baptist University Tigers compete as members of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference in NCAA Division II football and basketball. In 2012, the school will leave the Gulf South to join the newly-formed Great American Conference. Ouachita Baptist is a private Baptist institution located in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, midway between Texarkana and Little Rock. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 1,000.
