The Louisiana Tech University Bulldogs compete as members of the Western Athletic Conference in NCAA Division I FBS football and in NCAA Division I basketball. Louisiana Tech is a public institution located in the town of Ruston, Louisiana, in the north-central part of the state about an hour east of Shreveport. The school has an undergraduate enrollment of around 9,000.
