NESCAC<\/strong>: Empire 8<\/strong>: Saturday:<\/span> CCIW<\/strong>: Augustana (IL) head coach Jim Barnes, 79-34 in 11 seasons, has stepped down from his position. The Vikings never had a losing season under Barnes, and won three CCIW championships under his leadership. He finishes his tenure with the second-best record in school history. Additionally, the average GPA of his players rose nearly a quarter-point during his career, which is certainly to be applauded. Defensive coordinator Rob Cushman has been named as his replacement.<\/p>\n Saturday:<\/span> Wisconsin<\/strong>: Saturday:<\/span> American Southwest<\/strong>: Jimmie Keeling has retired as head coach at Hardin-Simmons. In 1990, Keeling took on the job of resurrecting the football program, which had been shut down in 1963.
