The kick was no good, and Louisiana held on for the upset. Unfortunately, despite their 8-1 record, they were left out of the field.<\/p>\n<p>Aaron Boehme threw for 214 yards and four touchdowns before halftime, then watched the rest of the game as Linfield defeated Lewis &amp; Clark for the 33rd straight time.<\/p>\n<p>Whitworth RB Adam Anderson ran for six scores and threw for a seventh as as the Pirates pounded Puget Sound.  Anderson had 224 yards on the day, and finished his career with 3,338 yards, a school record. He&#8217;ll have at least one more chance to reach the 5,000 yard mark, as Bethel was invited to the playoffs.<\/p>\n<p>Despite playing in a driving snowstorm which dumped 8 inches on the area, St. John&#8217;s had 404 passing yards, 318 by starting QB Joe Boyle, and 604 yards of total offense in their rout of Hamline.  The weather resulted in an attendance of only 1,688, the lowest attendance for a Johnnies&#8217; home game since 1992.  Despite the low crowd, St. John&#8217;s managed to lead Division III in regular-season home total attendance and average attendance.<\/p>\n<p>St. Thomas grabbed the autobid and the outright conference title two weeks ago. They get another reward for their win; an ECAC Bowl invite.<\/p>\n<p>Good thing Delaware Valley had already sealed the outright title and autobid last week.  Trailing 27-20, on fourth-and-six from the DVC 11 with only 3 seconds to go, Widener scored to pull within a point. Muhlenberg had a chance to tie the game after a touchdown with 1:05 to go, but the PAT was blocked, costing the Mules the opportunity to claim the outright conference title.<\/p>\n<p>Apparently, the last thing you want in this conference is to be all alone in first place. Ithaca led 17-3 midway through the third quarter before the Dragons rallied for the win.<\/p>\n<p>Montclair head coach Rick Giancola joined an exclusive club including St. John&#8217;s John Gagliardi, Mount Union&#8217;s Larry Kehres, and conference colleague Eric Hamilton at New Jersey; the four head coaches are the only active Division III coaches with 200 career wins following Montclair&#8217;s victory over Paterson.<\/p>\n<p>As mostly expected, the three-way tie at the top did in fact occur, and Cortland won the opponent&#8217;s opponent&#8217;s winning percentage tiebreaker, thus gaining the autobid. RMC then fought back themselves, but came up short, scoring with under a minute to go and recovering the onside kick, but failing to capitalize from there.<\/p>\n<p>Washington &amp; Lee won their seventh straight, the longest winning streak for the school since 1982.
