Here's how I rank the teams, by division, with their last division title or wild-card (going into the 2010 season):

AL EAST AL CENTRAL AL WEST
1. Toronto (1993) 1. Kansas City (1985)1 1. Texas (1999)
2. Baltimore (1997) 2. Detroit (2006) 2. Seattle (2001)
3. Tampa Bay (2008) 3. Cleveland (2007) 3. Oakland (2006)
4. Boston (2009) 4. Chicago (2008) 4. Los Angeles (2009)
5. New York (2009)2 5. Minnesota (2009)

NL EAST NL CENTRAL NL WEST 1. Washington (1981) 1. Pittsburgh (1993) 1. San Francisco (2003) 2. Florida (2003) 2. Cincinnati (1995) 2. San Diego (2006) 3. Atlanta (2005) 3. Houston (2005) 3. Arizona (2007) 4. New York (2006) 4. Milwaukee (2008) 4. Colorado (2009) 5. Philadelphia (2009) 5. Chicago (2008) 5. Los Angeles (2009) 6. St. Louis (2009)
1 - Kansas City is my team. Period. They are always at the top of the list.
2 - The Yankees can suck my knob.

So, what this means is that for 2010, my preferred post-season lineup would be Toronto, Kansas City, Texas, Baltimore, Washington, Cincinnati, San Francisco, and Pittsburgh. (Like that'll happen...)

Now, by league, which teams I'd rather see get into the World Series; this order changes drastically due to certain teams which haven't done well in the playoffs.
